My Favorite Tea Latte

Actually, I don’t know that this will be a thing or not, but it is for today! I wanted to share one of the special parts of The Experience at Strands Salon, so I’m showing you the process I use to make our Signature Corning Fog. It’s an Earl Grey tea latte, made with frothed vanilla Oatmilk creamer. I know what you’re thinking—Lindsay, you’re giving away all your secrets! But the thing I’ve realized is that no matter what, making this at home for yourself will never be as fun as having me prepare it for you during your hair extension appointment😍

Making It Signature

If you love Earl Grey tea, you’ve probably explored the London Fog. It’s such a cozy, classic and really feels indulgent. I fell in love with the drink last summer, and spent months tweaking my recipe. I needed it to be easy to duplicate at the salon, and always deliver the same delicious results. Creating the name seemed like it may be too much, but I love our area. Our town is like no other, and I really wanted to embrace it. 

Add Delicious Snacks

You’re here for some time during our appointment together. I always look for unique and delicious snacks, and they are always gluten and dairy free. I thought that might seem selfish, since those are my dietary restrictions, but I figured since it can feel really awkward not being able to eat at most places I go, that I would just cut to the chase and make sure most everyone could enjoy our snacks. Many of the items I bring in are safe for most allergy restrictions, but if there’s a specific request, I want you to feel comfortable sharing that with me!

Make the Most of Your Time

At Strands Salon, we make it easy for you to be as productive as you’d like to be during your appointment. Though NBR® is one of the fastest extension appointments available (row removal takes between 5-10 minutes!!), we value your time! Take advantage of our comfy chairs, multiple outlets for charging your devices, and complimentary Wi-Fi. If you have work calls to attend to, we’ll cover all of our consultation points up front, and turn the music off so you are not disturbed. Or bring your book, audio book, laptop, iPad…however you want to spend your time, we are here for it!!

Photos May Be Optional

Look, I love getting great photos and video clips during our appointments together, but I understand that some days are better than others. I like to give you a heads up when we’re creating content during your visit, but if there’s a time that you’re really not comfortable being on camera, we totally understand! We want you to feel confident, relaxed, and 100% comfortable! Just let us know how we can help!
