The craziest thing I believed about owning a luxury hair extension salon in a small town? That nobody in a small town would want luxury hair extensions!

Small Town, Big Vision

When I started my journey with NBR® in 2018 it felt like a huge risk. Spending so much money on my advanced education, and traveling to Orange County, California dozens of times...when I didn't know one person who wore of offered hair extensions in our area? Was I insane, or just up for the challenge of a lifetime?

Looking back, I'll just say I was ahead of the curve on hair extensions becoming mainstream. I mean, this was five years ago, which in hair trends is like decades! I was cutting entire families' hair, doing prom and wedding hair, eyebrow waxing, makeup, root touchups...pretty much everything but perms. I had to draw the line somewhere.😜 I didn't have room on my books for new clients of any sort, let alone space to create a luxury niche. But I felt called to do exactly that. To this day, the only thing I've realized is that EVERY WOMAN IN EVERY SMALL TOWN WANTS TO FEEL BEAUTIFUL AND CONFIDENT, AND WE DESERVE TO HAVE AMAZING HAIR!

Just because we live in a small, sweet, safe area doesn't mean we don't want all the things that women in bigger cities have easy access to! I mean, who else has purchased a lifetime worth of influencer recommended skincare and office organizing products from Amazon?? And don't get me started on lulu, alo, and Stanley...we want all the good things, even if we don't live near a big city.
