I’m going to share a bit of Barbara’s story. She is a busy, multi-passionate entrepreneur with several successful businesses that she runs with her family. Barbara had started coloring her early-sprouting sparkly hairs many years ago, and for the most recent few years had been doing it at home about every 10-11 days. I call this “chasing roots.” Using a strong, permanent color for full grey coverage creates very harsh lines of demarcation, or regrowth. It also creates such a stark contrast between the colored hair and the new growth at the scalp, that the grey seems way worse than it usually really is.

But chasing roots was just one of the issues that Barbara had been facing for some time. Her natural texture had become dry and brittle, and she had noticed an overall thinning and loss of fullness. She attributed these issues to hormonal shifts, as well as her DIY home hair maintenance. She loved having her long hair, but it just wasn’t the same anymore, and she really had no idea how to make it better.

Until she found me.
