Travel to NBR® Convention With Me!

When I started learning NBR® Extensions in 2018, I fell in love with traveling. I had been afraid of flying, but I knew I needed to embrace it if I was going to succeed with what I had set out to do...I would be traveling to Orange County, California more often than I realized!

That first trip took me to Huntington Beach. It was the first time I ever saw the Pacific, and I felt immense pride in my ability to travel across the country by myself. After that first trip, I was offered the chance to join the BMS Mastermind. It required an insane amount of work be completed in just one month, but I did it. During 2019, I traveled back to Orange County 6 more times for intense, hands on training.

The pandemic derailed my travel until the Fall of 2021, when we were finally able to have an in-person Convention again, this time I was going as a new graduate of the DKW Styling Academy and NBR® Licensed Artist. It was the most amazing trip--and I felt like the life of the party!!

At this year's Convention, I was ready to explore my business, my stories, and what possible blocks I could uncover. I also wanted to explore Huntington Beach! This trip, I roomed with a dear friend, and we had such an amazing time going to different restaurants, shopping, and walking all over the area. We took the time we needed after class, and during lunch, to protect our peace and just process everything we were learning.

The thing I loved most was at Licensed Artist Day (special, extra day just for us) we learned so much high level marketing and branding content, but we also had a particularly powerful photo shoot. Instead of the usual all black uniform, we all wore neutrals, and the photographer they hired to shoot us taught us all about interesting poses, and how to keep our content fresh for our own businesses. INCREDIBLE!

Have you ever thought you wanted MORE from your career and education? I'm a life-long learner, and I've never been able to settle for just status quo. Even though I can confidently say I'm really good at what I do, there is always so much more that I take away from my NBR® trainings, private Workplace groups, and Conventions. I will never stop loving being a part of my #NBRTRIBE .
