What Happens at an NBR Installation Appointment?

 

Hello! This week I wanted to answer a few questions people often ask when considering getting NBR® Extensions. I'm using my girl Kristy for the examples--I'll link the YouTube video here so you can watch it!

DO I HAVE TO COLOR MY HAIR? The easiest answer is Yes, but not necessarily a lot. While I know many women do not normally choose to color their hair for various reasons, when it comes to extensions, the color blend is 99% of the end result. If the color is off, your extensions will be visible. I specialize in believable, natural-looking color, and a less-is-more approach.

CAN I WASH/STYLE/WEAR A PONYTAIL? NBR® uses the highest quality, handtied hair, so anything you can do with your real hair, you can do with NBR® Extensions--only you will look and feel 1000% better! It is light and flexible, and so seamless it's practically undetectable--even with a ponytail!

WHAT IF I'M NOT A LONG HAIR KIND OF GIRL? Don't you worry! NBR® is so customizable and versatile! We can create your dream hair, whether you need your bob a little more fluffy, or you want to feel like Rapunzel! I've done it all!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PUT IN? At your first appointment, we will take before and after photos, do a mini consultation, color, treat and trim your natural hair, color and install the hair extensions, do the cut to blend and customize length and style, go over your home care, make sure you have the proper products, and teach you everything you need to get started! Most guests take about 4-5 hours, which is pretty fast compared to other types of methods. Your maintenance appointments are every 6-8 weeks and usually take between 3-4 hours, but again, everything depends on where we're starting from, and your desired results.

WILL IT DAMAGE MY HAIR? Actually, when installed correctly by a well-educated artist (ahem, me!) and with proper maintenance (at home, and getting your move ups on schedule) your natural hair will get LONGER, STRONGER, AND HEALTHIER!! Time and time again, my guests have been shocked by how much NBR® improves their own hair. To be clear, this is not just "extensions"--this is NBR®!!
